Every year on November 16th<\/strong>, the Rural Pride Day<\/strong> is celebrated, a day aimed at highlighting the richness, opportunities, and values that rural life offers. This event, which has gained traction in recent years, seeks to give visibility to the stories, traditions, and resources that shape rural identity, breaking stereotypes and emphasizing the vital role rural areas play in today\u2019s society.<\/p>\n

This year, for the first time, Rural Pride Day<\/strong> was celebrated in Castillo de Locub\u00edn, hosted at El Jard\u00edn de Castillo<\/strong>, a space dedicated to fostering social innovation and responsible tourism. The celebration featured a heartfelt gathering of residents who came together around the Rural Pride Flag<\/strong>, crafted by local resident Mercedes Conde. This flag, which symbolizes the courage and determination of those who champion rural life, was officially unveiled during the Rural Conecta 2024<\/strong><\/a> event, also organized at El Jard\u00edn de Castillo.<\/p>\n
